A quick week, but a great one!

It's only when we reflect on our weeks like this that we realise just how much we have achieved. Our wrap up list is getting long but here are some of our highlights this week..

  • Making more times to see participants face to face to ensure their needs are heard

  • Annalisa returned from 3 weeks leave and says she's glad to be back... but we're sure she's secretly having holiday withdrawals

  • Onboarded 4 new clients

  • Attended 2 planning meetings

  • Helped a new participant find new accommodation.

  • Organised a builder to check a participants bathroom which needs modification.

  • Got busy finding new furniture and household goods for a participant who has moved into a new house on their own (let us know if you can help with donating any items)

  • Attended NDIA training

  • Attended a memorial service for one of our dearest participants who passed away a month ago. It was lovely to share stories and a cup of tea with people who loved him

  • We supported 2 young participants to request employment skills building supports via the NDIS that will provide key opportunities to develop skills and community connections.

  • We supported a young participant to connect to important #Physiotherapy supports to assist with recovery

  • We provided some additional support for a participant who recently had a new NDIS approved, to connect to services to maintain his independence and enjoy his community.

  • We supported a participant to connect to #counselling supports to assist to build skills around new relationships and supports.

  • We supported a family of 3 children to identify support needs and strategies to connect to supports.

Some advice from us this week... write your own weekly wrap up! It'll make you feel great knowing what you have achieved and you'll head into the weekend feeling a million $$!

Have a fabulous weekend everyone!
